Synopsis
The course “Heat Transfer” provides the basics of heat transfer along with information on numerical techniques used in heat transfer analyses. Numerous automated analyses (using Microsoft Excel) are provided on a disk including radiation view factor calculations, film coefficient computations, and fluid flow analysis. There is a large data base of thermal physical properties. Much of this data is given as a function of temperature in the form of polynomial equations.
