Aviation Week reports that Embraer “delivered 28 executive aircraft and 15 commercial aircraft during the third quarter (Q3) of 2023, up 30% from 33 total aircraft delivered for the period a year ago.” The Brazil-based manufacturer “delivered 19 light jets and nine midsize jets during the quarter, up 22% from a year ago.”

Business Aircraft Flight Hours Increase Despite Fuel Costs
Aviation Week reported that the hours “of business aircraft utilization rose by 15% to around 690,000 hours in June 2022 despite the cost of fuel soaring to $4.12 per gallon from $1.75 in June last year.”

Business Aircraft Activity Continues to Grow at Record Pace
Aviation International News reports that European and North American “business aircraft activity continued on a record-setting pace in the first half of the year, with Part 135 flights reaching a new high in March and Part 91 rebounding from Covid lows, according to the Argus International mid-year review.” Yearly gains have averaged “24 percent per month. In fact, each month in 2022 has posted a year-over-year increase over 2021.
