Bloomberg reports that Amazon is starting its own air cargo operations in Europe. Amazon Air will run an air hub based from Leipzig/Halle airport in Germany and employ 200 workers at the hub. Operating “its own aircraft will let the world’s largest e-commerce company offer ‘more flexible delivery options,’ Amazon said.
