Jerrold Cline Senior Research Scientist GE Research
Jerrold Cline leads a team at GE Aerospace’s Advanced Research Center in Niskayuna, NY, focused on exploring strategies to reduce climate impacts across the aviation ecosystem. This includes reducing CO2 emissions through new engine technology, advancing alternative fuels, and studying non-CO2 emissions, such as contrails and NOx. The research team also works closely with GE Aerospace engineering to leverage scientific insights into next generation engine programs. Jerrold has over 25 years of research and development experience in the aerospace, finance, and telecommunications industries. Jerrold has an B.S. in Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Cornell University, and an MBA from University of Rochester.
