The American Institute of Aeronatuics and Astronautics (AIAA) will be hosting the 70th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in the United State for the first time in nearly 20 years!
IAC is the “World’s Premier Global Space Event” among space-focused scientists, researchers, engineers, agencies, businesses, students, young professionals, policymakers, astronauts, space-relate.
The International Student Conference is an invitation-only student conference contained within the annual AIAA SciTech Forum and Exposition. First-place winners from each of the previous year’s AIAA Regional Student Conferences are invited to present their winning papers at the International Student Conference in front of a panel of professional member judges in the undergraduate, masters, and team categories. At the conclusion of the conference, the AIAA Foundation will award three $1,000 cash prizes to each category’s first place winners. Want to get invited to SciTech? This conference will be a great opportunity for sharing the last advances in tether technology and bring together again space tether community, including researchers, space agencies and industry. The technical sessions, presentation and networking will create the suitable environment for open discussions on space tethers and their applications to space debris de-orbiting, space propulsion, science, power generation, artificial gravity, and space elevator, among others.
