U.S. TAG for ISO/TC 20/SC 17, Airport Infrastructure

AIAA has been appointed as the Administrator of the new U.S. TAG for ISO/TC 20/SC 17, Airport Infrastructure. The new US TAG is soliciting membership for the development of international standards for Airport Infrastructure in areas not covered by existing standards such as:

• Grooving of landing and take-off lanes
• Asphaltic-ecologic-paving;
• Vertical-signalling with painting and electric-electronic boards
• Constant-current-regulators
• And other topics as proposed by the Subcommittee
• requirements for the rational usage of the radio frequency band in order to ensure safe and reliable simultaneous operation of unmanned aircraft used for various purposes.
