This Committee is established for the purpose of overseeing and monitoring the process for recognizing meritorious contributions to science, technology, and engineering by means of awards, honors, and other suitable recognition. The Committee shall develop and recommend to the Board of Trustees policies and procedures relating to matters concerning the establishment of honors and awards.
- Direction on policies and procedures related to AIAA award programs
- Recommendations for recipients of Honorary Fellows / Fellows to the Board of Trustees
- Selection of Premier Award and Lectureship winners
