Ellen Gillespie Jacobs

A dedicated physicist and engineer with a passion for technical projects, I have worked in the Houston area for many years. I serve both AIAA and ASME at the local, regional, and national levels in support of professional, collegiate, and K–12 programs.

AIAA membership has enabled me to participate in technical and leadership activities that have benefited others, enhanced my career, and provided great personal satisfaction. AIAA programs are both enlightening and inspiring.

I hope to draw on my breadth and depth of experience to support AIAA Region IV operations by facilitating engaging events, addressing timely and relevant topics, promoting joint meetings, and advancing career development opportunities. I also aim to strengthen collaboration in a hybrid environment through effective use of a variety of communication tools.
