In the current environment, AIAA faces several headwinds driven by reduced investment in R&D, declining membership, and increasing competition affecting participation in AIAA signature conferences. To address these challenges, AIAA will require a new generation of leaders prepared to enhance its impact and advance its commitment to excellence. For this reason, I would be honored to have your support.

As Director of the Aircraft Technology, Integration and Operations (ATIO) Group, I will work to strengthen AIAA by increasing the impact of the Technical Committees (TCs) under my purview. I will emphasize building and sustaining strong TC membership to ensure effective and functional operations, while also improving the quality and relevance of technical outputs.

In addition to supporting ongoing event planning and technical program development, I will focus on encouraging the production of more impactful technical content. This includes promoting the development of high-quality position papers within TC domains that can inform and contribute to policy discussions. I also see Aerospace America as an important platform for broad dissemination of technical insights.

Furthermore, I will encourage TCs to prioritize high-quality submissions to AIAA technical programs, thereby enhancing the value of participation in AIAA forums and conferences for both attendees and presenters.

By strengthening AIAA’s value proposition through meaningful technical contributions, policy impact, and elevated event quality, I am confident we can effectively respond to current challenges and position the Institute for continued success.
