I have had the privilege of serving AIAA in various capacities at both the local and national levels, and I would be honored to have your support as I seek reelection as Region I Director.

AIAA sections are critical to providing local engagement and resources to both current members and future generations of aerospace professionals. During my first term as Region I Director, I focused on increasing collaboration and knowledge sharing between sections and across regional boundaries. I also led a working group to revamp the section funding process, with the goal of increasing local engagement and better aligning section activities with AIAA’s national strategic plan.

In addition, we began examining the geographic distribution of our membership relative to the existing region and section structure to assess how shifts in membership may be affecting the ability of sections to effectively engage their local communities.

If reelected, I will continue working to better align section structures with membership distribution, expand the sharing of best practices to improve operational efficiency across sections, and further strengthen engagement at the local level.
