AIAA is the leading global association for aerospace professionals; however, its international influence does not yet fully reflect its strong U.S. presence. Significant potential remains untapped to expand international membership and engagement. Realizing these opportunities will deliver substantial benefits to both AIAA members and the broader aerospace community. The strategic direction articulated by the Board of Trustees and the CEO underscores the importance of strengthening AIAA’s global relevance.

As IAG Director, I am committed to advancing this objective through targeted international initiatives, strategic collaborations with peer organizations, and the development of new sections and student branches. I also advocate for a sector-based approach to more effectively address the diverse needs of the international aerospace community.

My experience at the European Space Agency has provided extensive expertise in international collaboration, along with a deep understanding of the operational and cultural dynamics of aerospace organizations worldwide. I have also contributed to AIAA’s recent governance reforms and the ongoing refinement of its services and offerings to better meet the evolving needs of the aerospace community

I am committed to advancing the Institute’s mission and am confident that my global experience, deep understanding of AIAA, and extensive international network will support the successful implementation of AIAA’s Strategic Plan within the International Region.
