The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the world’s largest technical society dedicated to the global aerospace profession, with members from 91 countries. This broad international participation makes AIAA conferences worldwide hubs for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

My ambition as Director of Region VII International is not only to sustain but also to significantly expand international engagement within our community. I aim to achieve this through strengthened collaboration with established international aeronautical societies such as ICAS, IFAR, CEAS, and DGLR. In addition, the development of new regional sections—particularly in emerging countries—represents an important opportunity to broaden engagement and inclusion.

As Director of Region VII, I will represent the interests of international AIAA members within the Council of Directors. My focus will be to ensure that AIAA remains not only the largest, but also the most attractive professional society for aeronautical scientists worldwide.
