Tony Favaloro
Tony Favaloro graduated with a PhD from Purdue University and continued as a Research Scientist in the Composites Manufacturing and Simulation Center. Tony’s background provides expertise in nonlinear materials, nonlinear FEA, process simulation, and connected toolchains. Now, as a Solutions Architect in the Structures Center of Excellence at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, he is applying this expertise towards integrating modern data science and machine learning techniques into structural analysis to enable synergistic workflows.

Alana B. Cober
Dr. Alana Cober is a strategic HR leader in NASA’s Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer at NASA’s Headquarters in Washington, DC. During her past six years at NASA, Alana has served in various roles, from developing NASA’s talent strategy and integrated HR solutions to ensuring the workforce is well-positioned to meet NASA’s mission of today and tomorrow through re-visioning the future of work and the OCHCO enterprise functions. She has led numerous HR projects including Mission:OCHCO, continuing the HR transformation across the agency to Staffing 2.0, which involved the implementation of USA Staffing and ServiceNow’s HR Service Deliver platform for the agency, to revising the Astronaut candidate application and assessment process. With almost 20 years in the Federal Government, she has worked at amazing agencies including the United States Agency for International Development, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the Transportation Security Administration. Throughout her career, Dr. Cober has focused on developing strategic human capital programs and integrated talent management solutions with an emphasis in performance management, selection, and engagement. Dr. Cober earned her Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron.
