This fun, dynamic event offers students and young professionals the opportunity to meet AIAA corporate members and government agencies and discuss employment opportunities. In part 1 on Sunday, participating companies/organizations will present a brief organizational overview and opportunities available, then have follow-on discussions with the attendees. Organizations will host a table and attendees will switch every 10 minutes. Part 2 on Wednesday is an opportunity for students and attendees to meet with any of the employers that they didn’t have a chance to talk with on Sunday evening, and for any employers that could not participate in Sunday’s session to meet with prospective employees. Ignite the “Meet”ing
Nothing can be more intimidating than being a newcomer or young person at a conference or event where everyone already knows one another! Learn tips and techniques on networking and relationship building that will make your forum experience more enjoyable and productive. The session will focus on creating an introduction, understanding how to engage with others, playing off the unique networking styles of introverts and extroverts, and some “dos and don’ts” of networking. Then participants will take part in an activity designed to foster quick friendships so they never enter a forum session or reception feeling like a stranger.

Meet the Employers
AIAA’s “Meet the Employers” event at the 2021 SciTech Forum offers attendees the opportunity to virtually meet and network with AIAA corporate member companies. While attendance is open to the entire delegation, attendeesare primarily students and young professionals seeking employment information. Participating organizations present a 1-2-minute speed overview and mention of opportunities available, then have follow-on discussions with the attendees. Students will rotate themselves within the REMO platform in a virtual room with tables for each organization. Participant pre-registration recommended. Space is limited.
