Reuters reports, “Airbus confirmed on Monday it had delivered 323 airplanes in the first half of the year, up 2% from 316 in the same period of 2023. The world’s largest planemaker also said in a monthly bulletin that it had won 327 gross orders in the first six months of 2024, or a net total of 310 after cancellations.”

First MH-139A Grey Wolf Delivered to US Air Force
Defense News reports, “Boeing announced on Monday it has delivered the first production MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopter to the U.S. Air Force.” Boeing’s MH-139A Grey Wolf is slated to conduct security patrols at nuclear missile fields, but plans to slash the fleet have triggered cost overruns. “The helicopter will be stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, Boeing said.”

Russian Progress 89 Cargo Ship Delivers Supplies to Stranded Astronauts
BBC News reports, “An uncrewed Russian cargo ship successfully docked at the International Space Station early Saturday (Aug. 17) to deliver tons of fresh gear, food and other vital supplies. The cargo ship will “remain docked for approximately six months before departing for re-entry into Earth’s atmosphere to dispose of trash.”

Gulfstream Delivers First Two G700s
Aviation International News reports, “Gulfstream Aerospace has delivered the first two $75 million G700s to customers, the Savannah, Georgia-based aircraft manufacturer said yesterday afternoon. Both are now in service with undisclosed customers in the U.S. The company’s 7,750-nm flagship aircraft received FAA approval on March 29, followed by production certification and cabin interior approval on April 8.”

First Boeing P-8A Poseidon Delivered to the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Aviation Week reports that The Boeing Company “has handed over the first of four P-8A Poseidons to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF), four years after the aircraft was selected by Wellington to replace its six Lockheed P-3K2 Orions.” Boeing noted “the three remaining P-8s are in ‘advanced stages of production.’”

Airbus Deliveries Exceed 80 Aircraft in November
