AIAA Student Branches provide students with opportunities to connect with the aerospace community, build their professional networks, develop leadership skills, and stay engaged with AIAA throughout their academic journey. This year, AIAA reached an exciting milestone with 36 student branches returning to active status. These reactivations represent renewed student interest, stronger connections with faculty and AIAA, and new opportunities for students to become involved in the aerospace community.

Voyager 1 Reactivated in Interstellar Space
The Washington Post reports, “NASA engineers have succeeded in breathing new life into Voyager 1 after the spacecraft, launched in 1977, went silent seven months ago. Now comes another challenge: Keeping Voyager 1 scientifically useful for as long as possible as it probes a realm where no spacecraft has gone before.”

Hubble Wide Field Camera to Resume Operations Tuesday
SPACE reports that NASA officials announced Monday that the Hubble Space Telescope’s Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) was reactivated on Sunday. The WFC3 “is scheduled to resume science observations on Tuesday.”
