The AIAA Management Outreach Committee (MOC) Next Gen Leadership Series is designed to help emerging aerospace professionals accelerate their growth as leaders and expand their impact across the aerospace community.
In this inaugural session, Amir Deylami, Associate Center Director at NASA Ames Research Center, will share leadership lessons gained through leading large-scale operations, organizational transformation initiatives, and high-performing teams within some of the nation’s most complex mission-driven organizations. In his role, Amir oversees enterprise operations for NASA Ames, NASA’s Center of Excellence for Innovation, supporting approximately $8 billion in assets across a 2,000-acre research campus, enabling more than 150 NASA projects and over 100 public-private partnerships to advance aeronautics, human spaceflight, science exploration, and emerging technologies.
Drawing from nearly two decades of leadership experience across NASA Headquarters and field centers, he will share practical insights on building influence, earning trust, navigating career transitions, leading through uncertainty, and developing the leadership capabilities needed to succeed in increasingly complex environments.
The session will include audience Q&A and takeaways that attendees can immediately apply within their own organizations and careers.
