Steven C. Udvar-Hazy Senior Vice President, OEM Relations & Market Development Aviation Capital Group LLC

Steven Udvar-Hazy is Senior Vice President, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Relations and Market Development at Aviation Capital Group (ACG), one of the largest commercial aircraft leasing firms. In this capacity as a member of the ACG senior leadership team, he is responsible for the evaluation, selection and purchasing of modern jet aircraft for ACG’s growing portfolio. Mr. Udvar-Hazy also oversees ACG’s Engineering and New Aircraft Management departments in addition to leading the company’s market development initiatives.

Mr. Udvar-Hazy plays an active role with the major airframe and engine OEMs in new product design and development. He has served on numerous new product advisory boards and working groups focused on next generation aircraft and engines. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, Mr. Udvar-Hazy was recognized as one of the top 40 individuals under 40 years of age in the commercial aviation industry by Airline Economics, the only individual to be named to this list three times in a row.

Mr. Udvar-Hazy is a licensed pilot by the United States Federal Aviation Administration and is type-rated on the Boeing 737. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
