Jonathan Hartman Disruptive Technologies Lead Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company
Jonathan serves as the Disruptive Technologies Lead for Sikorsky Innovations, the advanced technology development organization of Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company. In this role, Jonathan leads the identification and maturation of game-changing technologies through collaborations with customers and Innovations’ global network of partners.
Since joining Sikorsky in 2009, his responsibilities have grown to include a wide range of roles, notably technical project management, business acquisition, strategic planning, and international partnership development. His technical portfolio includes maturation of future vehicle concepts, next generation energy storage and use, advanced manufacturing technologies and processes, as well as autonomy-enabled product offerings. Jonathan is a co-creator and former lead of Sikorsky’s open innovation initiatives including the Entrepreneurial Challenge, a competition design to highlight and support revolutionary ventures and innovators with aerospace-relevant technology.
Jonathan received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University and his Master of Business Administration degree from the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. He has been published and cited in various technical publications and holds four patents. He actively serves on several non-profit advisory and governing boards, including the Yale Science and Engineering Alumni Association and AeroInnovate. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife, Megan.
