Mark Moore CEO Whisper Aero

Mark Moore is the CEO of Whisper Aero, a VC funded start-up that is developing the next generation of quiet electric propulsion. Prior to this role, Moore co-founded Uber Elevate and served as its Engineering Director. With over 30 years of experience at NASA, Moore led the development of Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) technology, overseeing the design, construction, and flight testing of various electric flight demonstrators. These demonstrators included the Puffin, GL-10 UAV, LEAPTech full-scale DEP wing, and X-57 SCEPTOR - NASA’s first manned X-plane in over 25 years. Moore holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Stanford University and is finalizing his PhD from Georgia Tech.
