Tyler Miles Systems Engineer Lockheed Martin Space
Tyler Miles is a current Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space working in Integration with Remote Sensing applications. Tyler earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cal Poly SLO with a concentration in Aeronautics. He started his career with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. working on Detect and Avoid avionics to integrate Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAS) into U.S. National Airspace. There he developed ConOps and architectures while working with federal and international regulators to develop the future of UAS. Tyler also has experience at NASA Ames Research Center working on wind tunnel test campaigns. He is currently the Young Professional’s Chair for the AIAA SF Section and is passionate about developing the next generation of aerospace engineers and spending time outdoors.
