2027 IEEE Aerospace Conference
The International Conference for Aerospace Experts, Academics, Military Personnel, and Industry Leaders.
The international IEEE Aerospace Conference, with AIAA and PHM Society as technical cosponsors, is organized to promote interdisciplinary understanding of aerospace systems, their underlying science and technology, and their applications to government and commercial endeavors.
The annual, week-long conference is set in a stimulating and thought-provoking environment. The 2027 conference will be the 48th.
2026 AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference
The 2026 AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference, hosted by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) and cohosted by American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) will be held July 26–30 in Whistler, BC, Canada. The conference is organized by the AAS Space Flight Mechanics Committee and the AIAA Astrodynamics Technical Committee.

2026 Region VII Student Conference
AIAA is pleased to announce that the Region VII Student Conference will be held from 30 November–1 December 2026 at Adelaide University Student Branch, Adelaide, Australia & Online. This conference is intended for AIAA Region VII Students from around the world, with the exceptions of Canada and Mexico, which have been incorporated into AIAA’s North America Regions. The conference will also be hybrid with an online component to accommodate students who are not able to travel to Australia to present their paper in-person.
The AIAA Region VII Student Conference is a technical and oral paper competition for high schoolers (grades 9–12), undergraduate and graduate students of all majors! Connect with professionals in the Aerospace industry and also meet other like-minded students who share similar interests, and receive feedback on your work! Students may submit any paper that covers the technical disciplines of AIAA, and will have the chance to compete for cash prizes in a fun-filled two-day event.
*This competition is subject to all applicable laws, including US export laws. US law prevents AIAA from accepting registration fees, awarding prize money to, providing feedback on or publishing entries from, persons residing in Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Crimea, Sudan, or Syria. Additionally with respect to the conflict in Ukraine, AIAA will continue our practice not allowing Russian- or Belarusian-based students to participate in the AIAA Region VII Student Conference.
2025 AIAA Young Professionals, Students, and Educators (YPSE) Conference
The AIAA Mid-Atlantic Section is organizing the AIAA Young Professionals, Students, and Educators (YPSE) Conference, to be held 21 November. The conference will be held at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory Kossiakoff Center.
This is an excellent opportunity to share your work with the aerospace community and learn more about the innovative work of fellow aerospace enthusiasts! You do not need to be a member of the Mid-Atlantic Section to participate!

The 5th IAA Conference on Space Situational Awareness will take place at Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain, 7–9 April 2026.
The foremost purpose of Space Situational Awareness (SSA) is to provide decision-making processes with a quantifiable and timely body of evidence (predictive/imminent/forensic) of behavior(s) attributable to specific space domain threats and hazards. The conference will cover broad-ranging technical and policy related aspects associated with the topic of SSA.
28th Aerodynamic Decelerator Systems Conference and Seminar

The AIAA Aerodynamic Decelerator Systems Technical Committee, in collaboration with The Royal Aeronautical Society, is pleased to announce our 28th Aerodynamic Decelerator Systems Conference and Seminar.
The Conference and Seminar will be held 1–5 June 2026. 1–3 June will involve solicited technical paper presentations at The Royal Aeronautical Society in London, UK, followed by an advanced materials seminar 4–5 June hosted by The National Aerospace Library in Farnborough, UK and Heathcoat Fabrics Limited in Tiverton, UK. Coach transportation will be provided between venues on 4–5 June.

The AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustics Conference continues to be the leading international platform for the exchange of knowledge in the field of aeroacoustics. It provides researchers and engineers from academia, industry, and government a unique opportunity to share recent findings and explore future research directions. Contributions are invited on all aspects of noise generation, propagation, and control for aerospace vehicles, novel airborne systems as well as other industrial applications such as wind energy.
The technical program will feature theoretical, experimental, and numerical studies presenting original research or innovative approaches, with a particular focus on the rapidly evolving landscape of air transportation, considering their impact on structures and communities. This includes significant activity in Urban Air Mobility and Unmanned Air Systems, where the development of quieter, more sustainable aerial vehicles is driving intense aeroacoustic research. Contributions related to low-carbon aircraft technologies and novel flight concepts are especially encouraged. Comprehensive reviews and topical surveys will also be considered.
While the conference topics are outlined below, submissions on related subjects — including cross-sector applications of noise reduction technologies and non-aerospace research with potential aerospace impact — are welcome.

HAWT Workshop
The Hybrid Anechoic Wind Tunnel Workshop brings together researchers interested in hybrid anechoic aeroacoustic wind tunnels and their application. The workshop serves as a forum to present and discuss results from new experimental campaigns, as well as exchange updates, opportunities and issues related to hybrid anechoic tunnels. We do also welcome contributions concerning computations related to HAWTs, for example regarding validation or the analysis of the setup. The workshop will include a session with submitted and invited paper presentations, and a discussion session. AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustics Best Paper Award
Conference papers of superb technical quality, originality, and scholarly accuracy will be considered for the 2027 AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustics Best Paper Award.
Student Paper Award
Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit papers to the Aeroacoustics Student Paper Competition by selecting the “Student Paper Competition” presentation type when uploading abstracts. Student papers should report on thesis-related work conducted in collaboration with faculty advisors. The primary author must have been a student in May 2025 and must present the paper. The award will be based on the technical quality of the paper and the clarity of the presentation. The winning student will receive a monetary award and certificate.
