Suryaprakash Thiagarajan Systems and Test Engineer—1D Modelling and Validation Airbus

Suryaprakash Thiagarjan (Surya) is a 1D modeling engineer in the Fuel Systems Modelling and Simulation team at Airbus. Based in Bengaluru, India, he has been part of the ZEROe team developing models for transient fluid phenomena such as cryogenic water hammering, cavitation, phase change pressure oscillations, and transfer line failure scenarios. He uses GT-Suite to develop 1D models to validate them with test data and then extrapolates the models to drive aircraft architecture decisions. He also works closely with the liquid hydrogen test team to discuss instrumentation and test procedures to improve his models’ performance.
