CEAS EuroGNC 2024

The CEAS Conference on Guidance, Navigation and Control or “EuroGNC” an applied conference with strong aeronautics and space orientation. Non-aerospace applications with similar challenges and modeling approaches are welcome (e.g. automotive, robotics, wind energy, underwater vehicles). Theoretical works that are applicable to the aeronautics and space problems within the scope of EuroGNC are also welcome. Please see the full scope of the conference on the topics page.

The 2024 conference will be hosted from June 11th to 13th, 2024 at the University of Bristol in Bristol, United Kingdom and with the support of the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS).

2025 IEEE Aerospace Conference

The international IEEE Aerospace Conference, with AIAA and PHM Society as technical cosponsors, is organized to promote interdisciplinary understanding of aerospace systems, their underlying science and technology, and their applications to government and commercial endeavors.

Dayton Digital Transformation Summit

Advancing the Future of Digital Transformation

The Dayton Digital Transformation Summit is a three-day event on Digital Transformation to educate and align the Dayton Region and interested parties (both locally and nationally) to support the USAF Digital Transformation. The summit is interspersed with intentional discussion breaks to drive broader communication, collaboration, and networking.

Goals
  • Baseline all interested parties and stakeholders on Air Force needs to advance its Digital Transformation journey.
  • Increase awareness and educate local government, industry, and academia representatives on ongoing efforts in the Dayton region related to Digital Transformation.
  • Facilitate improved collaboration across Air Force, industry, and academia.

2023 Event Outcomes

35th AAS/AIAA Space Flight Mechanics Meeting

The 2025 AAS/AIAA Space Flight Mechanics Meeting, hosted by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) and cohosted by American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) will be held January 19-23 in Kaua’i, Hawaii. The conference is organized by the AAS Space Flight Mechanics Committee and the AIAA Astrodynamics Technical Committee.

Manuscripts documenting original research advances, scholarly contributions, and poster presentations are solicited on topics related to space-flight mechanics and astrodynamics. Submissions that are based on experimental results or current data, or report on ongoing space missions, are also of interest.

Spaceport America Cup

Spaceport America and the Experimental Sounding Rocket Association have announced the 2024 Spaceport America cup, scheduled for 17–21 June 2024, in southern New Mexico.

The Spaceport America Cup is designed in conjunction with IREC – the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition for student rocketry teams from all over the country and around the world. With over 150 teams from colleges and universities from over 20 countries, the competition continues to grow every year. Students launch solid, hybrid and Liquid propulsion rockets to target altitudes of 10,000 and 30,000 feet.

In partnership with the Experimental Sounding Rocket Association and Spaceport America, AIAA is proud to support the world’s largest intercollegiate rocketry competition.
