AIAA Aerospace Recruitment Series: Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory

Come learn about the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a research division of the Johns Hopkins University. APL solves complex engineering, research, and analytic problems to safeguard our nation’s security and pioneer emerging technologies. Current students and new Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. students are invited to tune in and learn more about APL.

We will talk about the exciting work we do and all APL career opportunities (internships and full time) and our two-year rotational program. Speakers include: Mechanical Engineering experts from Air and Missile Defense, Space Exploration and Force Projection Sectors and APL’s College Recruiting Program.

About AIAA Aerospace Recruitment Series
This series of recruiting opportunities takes place every month with AIAA Corporate Members and is made exclusively available to AIAA members and to those attending AIAA forums.

AIAA/IEEE Electric Aircraft Technologies Symposium (EATS)

Building upon successful events in 2018–2020, the 2021 Electric Aircraft Technologies Symposium will look at progress over the past year and continue the discussion about the aerospace industry goals for future aircraft. To accommodate rapid growth in emerging markets and ensure sustainability of air travel, one approach being explored is using nontraditional aircraft propulsion: electric, turboelectric, or hybrid/electric powertrains. AIAA and IEEE crafted this unique symposium to bring the aerospace engineers and the electrical engineers together to discuss these topics and their challenges.
