37th International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC-2019)

The 37th International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC) and its Colloquium – one of the most influential technical events on satellite communications systems – will be held in Okinawa, Japan from Tuesday October 29th through Friday November 1st, 2019. The first day, Tuesday, October 29th, is dedicated to the Colloquium which is entitled Disruptive Expansion of Space Laser Communications. The Colloquium complements the ICSSC’s technical sessions and panels and attendance requires a separate registration.

The 37th ICSSC technical sessions and panels, scheduled from Wednesday, October 30th through Friday, November 1st, will focus on subjects addressing the conference theme of Ensuring a Realistic Migration, Harmonization and Integration of Space Based Communications Facilities Within the 5G Network. Satellite communication industries and organizations and their activities in the Asia-Pacific region will be presented during this AIAA Co-Sponsored conference.

2nd Cognitive Communications for Aerospace Applications (CCAA) Workshop

This is the second workshop on cognitive telecommunications systems co-sponsored by IEEE Northeastern Ohio Chapter and NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH. The aim of this workshop is to bring together Researchers, Engineers, Technologists, and leaders across industry, government, and academia to discuss and present their recent advancements and future interest in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning with applications toward the development of cognitive telecommunication systems for aerospace.
