 Watch On Demand

Aerospace-workforce-iStockAs a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the global workforce has changed significantly. Against this backdrop, other factors, such as working from home, the great resignation, and the arrival of advanced technologies, such as automation and artificial intelligence, continuously impact talent and the workforce. During this session, the obstacles and opportunities related to the U.S. aerospace workforce are revisited through a panel discussion. The envisioned conversation intends to provide an opportunity to gain an industry perspective on some of the pain points and relevant opportunities for the workforce. Observation of historical facts and gaps—where more efforts are needed to nourish talent for invigorating the U.S. aerospace industry—is vital.

This session is arranged in collaboration with the AIAA Society and Aerospace Technology Outreach Committee (AIAA SAT OC). AIAA SAT OC regularly investigates the impact of aerospace technology on society. In this context, that impact is considered from the contributions of the U.S. aerospace workforce to state-of-the-art technologies that in turn lead to societal outcomes.

BREACHED! in partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton

BREACHED! is an interactive and dynamic exercise where participants role-play executive-level positions in response to a cyberattack.
