The Washington Post reports, “Boeing’s Starliner capsule, carrying a pair of NASA astronauts, docked with the International Space Station on Thursday, completing the first leg of an important test flight after several of its thrusters went offline, forcing a dramatic, last-minute scramble to troubleshoot the issue.”

Tianzhou Cargo Ship Docks With Tiangong Space Station

Spaceflight Now reports that the automated Tianzhou 3 supply ship “launched and docked with the Tiangong space station Monday, delivering supplies to support the next three-person crew on the complex for six months after their arrival in October.” The Tianzhou was mounted on a Long March 7 rocket and launched from the Wenchang base on Hainan Island.

Starliner’s Docking at ISS Was Slightly Delayed

CNN reports that The Boeing Company’s Starliner spacecraft docked with the ISS “Friday night at 8:28 p.m. ET.” Starliner’s docking “occurred about an hour later than expected as ground crews worked through a few issues, including a software issue that skewed graphics, sort of like a misaligned GPS map.” The Starliner’s pop-out docking ring malfunctioned on its first docking attempt.
