The mission was initially shrouded in secrecy as the satellite’s manufacturer, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), shunned any pre-launch publicity. The mission, referred to by SpaceX as ‘Commercial GTO-1,’ lifted off at 1:04 a.m. EDT (0504 UTC) on Sunday, July 13.”

SPACE reports, “Blue Origin sent its 70th person into space today (June 29) on its 13th rocket flight to carry passengers. The company’s New Shepard suborbital launch vehicle lifted off Saturday at 9:39 a.m. CDT (10:39 a.m. EDT or 1439 GMT) from its Launch Site One in West Texas. On board were husband and wife Allie and Carl Kuehner, Leland Larson, Freddie Rescigno, Jr., Owolabi Salis and James Sitkin.”

Rocket Lab Launches Electron Rocket from New Zealand
SPACE reports Rocket Lab launched an Electron rocket from New Zealand on June 26. The rocket carried a trio of “radio frequency geolocation microsatellites and a fourth experimental satellite dubbed ‘Kestrel-0A’. The group was released into a polar low-Earth orbit (LEO) at an altitude of about 320 miles (520 kilometers).”

SpaceX Falcon 9 Launches Fourth Axiom Space Private Astronaut Mission to ISS
Space News reports, “SpaceX launched a Crew Dragon spacecraft on a private astronaut mission to the International Space Station June 25 after weeks of delays. A Falcon 9 lifted off at 2:31 a.m. Eastern from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A. The Crew Dragon spacecraft deployed from the upper stage in low Earth orbit nearly 10 minutes later. The Falcon 9’s first stage returned to land at Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral.”

Venus Aerospace Conducts Landmark 1st Launch with Potentially Revolutionary Rocket Engine
SPACE reports, “Houston-based startup Venus Aerospace has completed the first-ever test flight of a rotating detonation rocket engine (RDRE) in the United States. SPACE reports, “A European forest-monitoring satellite headed toward orbit from South America early Tuesday morning (April 29).
