The Wall Street Journal reports Airbus set a record for the highest number of orders in a single year, with 2,319 gross orders last year, more than doubling its orders compared to 2022 and 29.1% higher than its 1,796 record set in 2014.

NASA Set to Launch Ax-4 Mission to ISS as Soon as June 19
Space News reports, “NASA says a private astronaut mission could launch to the International Space Station as soon as June 19 as it works to understand an air leak on the Russian segment of the station. In a June 14 statement, NASA said it is working with Axiom Space and SpaceX on ‘reviewing launch opportunities’ for the Ax-4 mission, with the earliest such opportunity on June 19.”

Aviation Week reports that Bombardier’s Global 7500 jet has set 75 speed records, highlighting its top speed and impressive range. “The new records build on earlier speed-setting flights, which include a 8,225-nm flight in October 2019 from Sydney to Detroit.”

Bombardier Announces Its Global 8000 Sets Cabin Altitude Record
Flying Magazine reports, “Bombardier announced Tuesday that its new Global 8000 now offers the lowest cabin altitude of any business jet in production. The Canadian aerospace manufacturer said the Global 8000 has a cabin altitude of 2,691 feet while flying at 41,000 feet.”
