Unmanned Systems Technology reports, “Australian aerospace company Drone Forge has signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopters to acquire six complete Flexrotor uncrewed aerial systems, totaling 17 aircraft. The Flexrotor platforms will be delivered in mission-ready configurations tailored for diverse operational scenarios, ranging from littoral surveillance and high-altitude inland reconnaissance to critical infrastructure monitoring and environmental assessments over maritime zones. Each aircraft will be equipped with a heavy fuel engine specifically configured for maritime use, enhancing safety, fuel logistics, and interoperability with naval forces.”

Japan’s Skymark Airlines to Purchase Six 737 Max 8s
Flight Global reports, “Skymark Airlines is to acquire six Boeing 737 Max 8s, in an orderbook top-up for fleet renewal purposes. The deal, which was approved by the Japanese carrier’s board on 22 May, is valued at Y143.4 billion ($997 million) at list prices, and includes the purchase of CFM International engines.”
