SPACE reports, “SpaceX will end up launching an orbital mission nearly every other day in 2025, if all goes according to plan. “We’re targeting 170 launches by the end of the year,” Anne Mason, director of national security space launch at SpaceX, said during a call with reporters on Wednesday (May 28). That would shatter the company’s single-year record of 134 orbital liftoffs, which was set just last year.”

NASA, SpaceX Aim for July 31 for Launch of Crew-11 Astronaut Mission
SPACE reports NASA and SpaceX are targeting July 31 for the launch of the four-astronaut Crew-11 mission, which will fly a mix of rookies and spaceflight veterans to the ISS. “The flight, called Crew-11, will lift off atop a Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex-39A (LC-39A), at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, sending the Crew Dragon Endeavour to low Earth orbit (LEO).”

Boeing Starliner’s Next Flight Allowed to Carry Cargo Only
Ars Technica reports, “The US space agency ended months of speculation about the next flight of Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft, confirming Monday that the vehicle will carry only cargo to the International Space Station. NASA and Boeing are now targeting no earlier than April 2026 to fly the uncrewed Starliner-1 mission, the space agency said. Launching by next April will require completion of rigorous test, certification, and mission readiness activities, NASA added in a statement.”
