Wout De Backer, an Assistant Professor at the Molinaroli College of Engineering at the University of South Carolina, was one of six faculty advisors selected to receive the 2025 AIAA Faculty Advisor Award, highlighting his commitment to the development, mentorship, and growth of the AIAA University of South Carolina (USC) Student Branch.
