Our reimagined AIAA Awards Gala will take place under the stars in an outdoor event space at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. This setting will allow for social distancing and free-flowing networking, as well as interactive experiences with a model of the JPL Mars Helicopter, Ingenuity.
The 2020 Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala has been cancelled due to safety concerns from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 honorees will be recognized in-person in 2021. If you have purchased a table, sponsorship, or individual ticket for the 17 July 2020 event, those purchases will be fully refunded. The 19 May 2021 event will be a unique evening of recognition for both the Class of 2020 and 2021 AIAA Fellows, Honorary Fellows, and award winners. AIAA looks forward to honoring our members’ ingenuity and achievements.
