Amy Mehlman, Vice President of Government Affairs and Global Policy at Viasat, is a government relations veteran with over twenty years of experience representing companies before legislatures and regulators around the world as well as a focus on the United States’ Congress, Federal Agencies and the Executive Branch. Amy specializes in telecommunications policy, beginning her career working with leading satellite, wireless and broadcast companies as United States wrote their historic Telecommunications Act of 1996 and the Internet bubble transformed the marketplace. Amy has worked on a Presidential transition team and was a delegate to the World Radiocommunications Conference in 2019.
