Ingo Jahn is a researcher and Senior Lecturer in the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering at the University of Queensland, in Brisbane, QLD (Australia), where he has been a lecturer and researcher since 2012. He obtained a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Oxford in the U.K., followed by a PhD from the Turbomachinery Lab at the University of Oxford. Between 2007 and 2012, Jahn worked for Rolls-Royce plc in the U.K. as Advanced Seals and as Research Technology Leader for Oil Systems. Jahn’s research interests are in fluid structure interactions, hypersonic propulsion, system design and integration for flight vehicles, and advanced seals/air-riding seals. Jahn is a native of Germany.
